Who are we?

Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSCs) are university-based communities designed to bring together students passionate about technology and innovation. Our mission is to empower students to learn, grow, and create solutions using Google’s cutting-edge technologies.

How It Started

The Google Developer Student Club at LSU launched in 2019 under the leadership of sophomore Rohan Kadkol. The club initially focused on solving real-world problems through app development, hosting workshops on Android development, programming, and Google Cloud. By collaborating with local businesses and inviting industry professionals, GDSC quickly established itself as a place for students to gain practical skills beyond the classroom. Today, GDSC at LSU continues to thrive by hosting workshops on diverse tech topics and organizing engaging social events that build a strong sense of community. Whether learning new skills, networking with peers, or just having fun, GDSC provides a welcoming space for all students passionate about technology.
